  From the initial phone call he was the only funeral director willing to provide a detailed quote and give a step by step outline of the process to help clearly understand what needed to be done, where others weren't as willing to elaborate and required us to make an appointment to meet with them to discuss in detail. His openness and transparency just over a phone call allowed us to save time to focus on other matters to prepare for the funeral.

  They were so accommodating to our needs and requests and coupled with their promptness it made the whole process so much easier for us to organise and fulfil our plans for the week. Ross was also very sensitive towards our cultural and religious beliefs and requirements. He even helped to source a florist and ensured the florist provided a flower arrangement exactly as requested by my mum.

  Ross and his family made the passing of a loved one a very natural and dignified experience. We were given insights into death that gave us hope and comfort. Ross is a typical Kiwi person that has a genuine love of people and an understanding approach of how to comfort in time of need. I might add too, that his prices were up to $2000 less than other funeral homes we looked at. I do not hesitate in recommending Heaven Funerals.
